Providing 1,124 meters (3,700 feet) of vertical, and a run with a total distance of 8.5 kilometers (5.3 miles), Suginohara is one of Japan's top ski areas. It has a wide variety of ski trails, and lifts that swiftly carry skiers up to 3km (2 miles) in one stretch, The upper reaches of the ski slope have premium snow quality and a magnificent view. Some of the slopes are left ungroomed, providing excellent powder conditions on many dyas of the season.
